Heaven sing, ye earth rejoice,

Men and angels join the strain

Come, surround Him as He rose

Sing the praise of Jesus name.

The son broke the serpents head

Death and Satan all vanquished

Captive led captivity

By the ascended Saviour.

Thy strife and Thy fight is o’er

Enter Thou into thy joy

For His own, He intercedes

At His Father’s throne on high.
