Chidinma Chidinma Ekile, popularly known by her stage name, Chidimma , is an Imo state indigene, but born in Ketu, Lagos State Nigeria. Chidimma's parents are both native of Imo State. They have seven children, out of which Chidimma is the sixth. Chidimma had her primary education in Ketu, Lagos. She started her secondary school also in Ketu but later concluded it in Ikorodu when her family left Ketu to Ikorodu. After her secondary Education, Chidimma gained admission into the University of Lagos where she studied Sociology. Jòòkwa's talent as a musician manifested as a child when she was barely 6 years old.
