Gionee M7, after several weeks of rumours and leaks is finally here. The most obvious physical attribute to Gionee M7's credit is the new and trendy near bezel-less display, that is 6-inches in size, which Gionee dubbed 'FullVision'. Elsewhere the Gionee M7 is rocking dual 16MP and 8-megapixel back cameras, a huge 4,000 mAh juicer, the latest Helio P30 chipset from Mediatek and Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

Design & Display

Gionee M7 is a premium looking smartphone that comes with a sleek look and feel. It is slimmer than the Gionee M6s Plus and features a unibody design. The sides and edges are slightly rounded to help for better handling.

The Gionee M7 is quite slim considering the large battery unit in it. At 7.2 mm, the Gionee M7 is even slimmer compared to Apple's new iPhone 8 which is generally smaller in terms of size. The Gionee M7 comes in Sapphire Blue, Star Blue, Maple Red, Champagne Gold, and Black.

The Gionee M7 sports a large 6.01 inches AMOLED 'FullVision' display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display has a resolution of 1080 by 2160 pixels and a pixel density of 402 ppi. All of this should translate to a great multimedia experience and text readability.

Camera

The Gionee M7 packs dual cameras on the back. A 16MP + 8MP, coupled with autofocus should serve you well if you take lots of photos and videos. LED flash is also available for enhancing photos in low lit areas. The cameras can shoot FHD video at 1080 pixels.

The Gionee M7 is a powerhouse as it powered by Mediatek's latest chipset; Helio P30. The chip has 8 Cortex A53 cores, with 4 running at 2.3GHz while the remaining 4 are clocked at 1.65GHz. The processor is also paired with a whopping 6GB of RAM. With this kind of power, the Gionee M7 should handle even the most rigorous multitasking like a champ.

On the Gionee M7 is a massive 64 GB of internal storage, which you can expand via microSD card, up to 256 GB if you crave more storage space for media content to be enjoyed on that stunning display.

Battery & Other Features

The Gionee M7 gets its juice from a 4,000 mAh battery that is non-removable. This battery should easily last a full day of use without much hassle. The Gionee M7 also supports OTG, which means you can attach a dongle to it via the USB port.
