Utibe Abasi Ediong Etok better known by stage-name as Dario Etok was born in Abak, Nigeria. He is from Ikono, one of the Local Government Areas in Ibibio ethnic group in the Northern part of Akwa Ibom State, South-South, Nigeria. He attended Abak International Nursery/Primary School, Oku-Abak in Akwa Ibom State. In 2004, he attended McIntire Secondary Commercial School, Abak where he obtained his Junior School Certificate. In 2008, he got admission to study sciences in St. Mary’s Senior Science College, Abak, where he obtained his Senior School Certificate. He enrolled at former Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori, now, Ken Saro-wiwa Polytechnic, Bori, where he did his National Diploma course in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. While attending RivPoly, he performed at Church organised shows, concerts and programmes.


Dario Etok born into a family of five; his parents trained him up in the way of the Lord. But, when he reached his teenage, he decided to live a street life and grew up as a ruffian/defiant with other town-boys in the cool boulevards of Abak metropolis, he always want to be unique in all ways, that's why he can't relent effort in his doings until he makes it, with that mind he developed an hustling spirit and he was working harðer to become a sex symbol as well as secular music logo and also to meet his stardom before or on time.He later change from his focus and gave up his ways the day "Joe Praize" ministered live with songs at a Crusade conducted by Christ Embassy Port harcourt Zone 1, at B.M.G.S, Bori-Ogoni in Rivers state. He is now a gospel singer-songwriter, praise/worship Leader, Recording Artiste @Audio Klimax studios and also Front Artistè @Rockbach Musik Anchorage.
