How To Install Skype In Ubuntu For Both 32/64Bit Architecture And Other Distros

I was trying to install Skype in my Ubuntu OS, I Am going to share two ways in which you can install Skype, I will explain everything for you in details, It depends on the type of Linux Distros you’re using but either of the two method am using one must surely work for you, Except may be if you’re having any issue with your OS.

First Installation Via Software Center

• Download The Skype Here
• After Downloading, Open it With Software Center.
• Enter Your Password and make sure you’re connected.
• That’s All, You can Enjoy Your Skype.

Second Installation Via Terminal

• Open Your Terminal By Pressing Ctrl + Alt + T
• Then Use The Following Command

sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install skype

• Wait for it to Install, And Search for it.

To Uninstall Skype

• You can either remove it using the software Center, Or just use this Command

  sudo apt-get purge skype
