One thing about this year is that it's a year full of leaks, regardless how hard the companies try to prevent the leaks but they just keep on popping up. The most funniest part is that the unboxing video of OnePlus 5T was released before its official launch, a German blog also shared the images but unfortunately, they were asked to take it down. Earlier, Samsung also found itself in the same situation whereas Samsung is planning to unveil their next smartphone in early 2018. With the success of Galaxy S8 and Note8, Samsung is pretty confident with their S9. In a hardly surprising development, SamMobile has confirmed that there will be two versions of the Galaxy S9. The site discovered two model numbers for the handset - G960FXXU0AQI5 and G965FXXU0AQI5 - the first of which allegedly belongs to the Galaxy S9, and the latter to the Galaxy S9 Plus. The rep

Which phone has the best and Strongest battery life in 2017

Image
Which  phones  had the best battery life in 2017? And does battery life on phones ever improve or does it stay roughly the same throughout the years? At PhoneArena, we do a standardized proprietary battery test on all phones that we review. We test every device diligently: we make sure that its screen is set at the same brightness level and to ensure this we measure brightness level down to the nit with a special colorimeter, we also turn off external notifications and other sources of power drain that might skew the results of our test. For some phones, we double-test if we have doubts about the results. This gives us a comprehensive picture of battery life numbers for all major flagships not just in 2017, but also through the wider lens of time. As 2017 winds down to a close, we take a look at all the major flagship phones of the year and their battery life performance, and we compare the results to the average battery life of flagships in 2016 and 2015 to see

What a year it's been for the smartphone market! Looking back at what transpired, we saw no shortage of top-notch offerings that constantly kept coming at us in a steady flow. NEW: BlackBerry app store closing after 2019, BB10 gets two years of support

While the BlackBerry name isn’t much more than an afterthought in the Android market, users might be surprised to hear that some of the company’s legacy mobile services are still around. Unfortunately for those still using them, BlackBerry has announced that they’ll be shutting down over the next two years, including the platform’s app store. Since it’s been two years since a BlackBerry 10 device has actually shipped, it makes sense the company would want to kill off these aging services. First up on the chopping block are the BlackBerry Travel site and Playbook video calling, which will be discontinued in February and March 2018, respectively. The big shutdown, however, will take place on December 31st, 2019, when the BlackBerry World app store will be taken offline. For those who still rely on these phones, the clock is ticking down to the time when there’ll be no choice but to make the switch to An
